individual and family therapy
In individual and family therapy for teens and adults, we will work together to address anxiety, depression, trauma and/or other concerns or problems you are finding in your life. Different approaches will work better for different people (like EMDR vs. CBT for example) and we will work together to figure out how to best help you. I will always take a collaborative approach with you in deciding your treatment, because you will always be the expert of yourself.
In therapy, we will work together to:
-work through difficult or traumatic memories and events so that you no longer feel as if you’re running away from them
-identify new ways to think about and view the world and yourself
-develop healthy ways to manage symptoms such as anxiety, depression, worry, suicidal thoughts, insomnia, and others
-improve your self-esteem, self-compassion, and mindfulness
-navigate behavioral challenges in children
-and much more
