EMDR Intensives
Are you intrigued by the idea of trying EMDR therapy? Maybe you’ve heard about it or others have recommended it to you. But the thought of attending weekly therapy for months sounds exhausting and expensive?
With EMDR Intensives, we can meet anywhere from half a day to 5 full days in a row to accomplish what we would normally accomplish in 3-12+ months of weekly therapy.
How is that possible? If you are familiar with typical EMDR therapy sessions, you probably have experienced 10-15 minutes at the beginning of the session where you’re catching your therapist up on your week and orienting back into where you left off from your last session. Depending on how quickly that goes, you may only get 20-30 minutes of the deeper work before it’s already time to start wrapping up so that you can have another 10+ minutes of grounding and containment so that you can go on with your day.
Imagine how much more work could be done without the constant opening and closing of this work.
EMDR intensives can be half a day (3 hours), a full day (6 hours with a one hour lunch break), or several days in a row or spread out.
Make sure you wear comfortable clothes, bring snacks, and try to schedule for a time when you can take the rest of the day and next day off from any work.
EMDR Intensives + Ketamine-assisted therapy
If you’re interested in both EMDR intensives and Ketamine-Assisted Therapy, we can set up a whole individualized wellness retreat for you that combines both of these services! Please reach out for a free consultation if you would like to learn more.
